Job Description

The Director, Global Credit Product will be responsible for leading the global market research to understand what drives consumer behavior in the various markets. He/She will also be responsible for then defining and communicating a differentiated credit product strategy and roadmap by identifying solutions to address consumer pain points. 

  • Manage the global credit consumer capabilities roadmap by synthesizing competitive analysis, market research, issuer and regional team feedback and using the findings to identify and prioritize opportunities to drive credit spend

  • Understand Visa’s strategic and competitive position and deliver capabilities that are recognized as
    differentiated in the industry

  • Identify the unique needs of the different segments (Millennials, Affluent etc) and develop innovative and bespoke solutions

  • Identify and support the unique needs of Visa’s top clients in the regions

  • Develop a strong collaborative working partnerships with the regional credit teams to understand their market’s challenges and needs and get their buy in to roll out the capabilities globally

  • Manage and launch enhancements to existing benefits/capabilities

  • Collaborate with Marketing to define the strategy to drive awareness and adoption of the benefits/capabilities

  • Develop and monitor KPI’s that will produce actionable insights

  • Share successes in one or more regions with all the regional stakeholders such that they can be replicated across the regions

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management and Strategy

  • Experience in payments industry is highly desirable

  • Experience with leading and synthesizing market research is highly desirable

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; strong bias towards data-based decision making and comfort with financial and operational analysis

  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

  • Experience in developing key metrics to increase understanding of business performance

  • High attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
