Job Description

Over the last 2 years Visa University has built a digital learning campus, accessible by over 14,000 global employees, and two physical learning campus’… and we’re still only just getting started. Key Responsibilities:

1. Evaluate courses to improve the quality of learning products: You will use your understanding of course development and your assessment expertise to measure course effectiveness, knowledge retention, and behavior change of our learners to support the development of current and future learning products.

2. Prove the business value of Visa University: You will grow our current tools, and set future strategy, for measuring and demonstrating learning impact/ROI to senior leadership. You often only get one slide to do this, so expert skills for designing fit-for-purpose dashboards along with the capability required to wrangle the data that drives them, is a core requirement of the role.

3. Develop and grow key relationships: Our team supports other functional teams in learning. We have lots of partners and stakeholders who need our help in shaping their own story for measuring and demonstrating learning impact. Although this is an individual contributor role, you will have a unique opportunity to create and grow strategic relationships, which in-turn will help you have impact and shape learning at Visa beyond the immediate team.

4. Advance the strategy of learning and talent analytics: The more we advance learning, the more data we capture. In addition to data from evaluations, our learning management system, our digital campus and learning operations, we have access to broader HR data such as, HR demographics, performance management, employee engagement results etc. You will help define and direct a strategy for integrating this broad data to help guide Visa University to what’s next: New products, new tools and technology, the next stages of learning effectiveness and behavior change, learning value, and learning product design.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in education, learning sciences, or organizational development
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in evaluating learning and development or equivalent in a corporate environment
  • Track record of specializing in measuring learning within a broader understanding of the entire L&D function; skill at synthesizing input from a variety of sources and making an informed recommendation
  • Strong business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with influencing instruction design and developing fit-for-purpose dashboards
  • Experience with evaluating a variety of learning modalities: both instructor-led and online
  • Strong project management skills to lead a concept from inception to execution
  • Poise at engaging and developing collaborative, productive relationships with business and HR stakeholders alike
  • Strong written and oral communication skills: polish in and experience with presentation
