The Cloud platform & Infrastructure Automation Team at Visa is responsible for building frameworks and systems to automate infrastructure provisioning and application deployment tools that Visa developers will use to deploy and run code. Our mission is to make it easy for developers to get their code to customers. We are building a platform based on our private cloud that will make it easy to deploy, monitor, scale and debug applications. We support teams using a variety of technologies and in offices that span multiple continents, deploying code dozens of times each day.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Design and build solutions using OLTP systems (SQL Server / Oracle). Responsibilities include the creation of conceptual approach, technical analysis, causal analysis, design, development and support activities 
• Build logical data models using the technology relevant for the business use case 
• Partner with Business stakeholders with the goal of providing them with the ability to make decisions and gain insights through data visualization. Development would include requirements gathering,
• Data-model and how to best visualize their data, followed by design, deployment, and on-going enhancements 
• Work closely with the Project Management Office and various business stakeholders to drive and/or facilitate development of requirements, specifications and use cases for assigned projects 
• Able to work on multiple projects and initiatives with different/competing timelines and demands 
• Lead collaboration activities with business partners on detailed workflow design, configuration, and business re-engineering 
• Work with delivery partners to review and finalize technical specifications and implementation related activities 
• Collaborate with business partners on user acceptance testing 
• Work with limited direction, usually within a complex environment, to drive delivery of solutions and meet service levels 
• Collaborate across global businesses and technology organizations, providing sound business analysis, process, and change leadership 
• Mentor junior developers in following best practices
  

• BS with masters or equivalent in CS or related field 
• 8+ years of experience in data analytics, data modeling, designing solutions and visualizations 
• Expertise in PL/SQL & OLTP systems (SQL server / Oracle) 
• Experience with Cloud databases 
• Experience building analytical reports using Tableau or similar tools 
• Process oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills 
• Previous Agile/Scrum experience - a plus
