Cloud automation team within Visa's Operations and Infrastructure group is responsible for building cloud infrastructure and services. The group is also responsible for providing self-service capabilities to Visa's PD teams to consume cloud resources.

One of the teams is responsible for building infrastructure-as-a-service API's based on VMWare based eco-system that includes workflow automation, scripting and API development and we are looking for a systems/software engineer with below skillsets.

• Solid development skills with experience building software in Python. 5+

• Experience with HPOO, Bladelogic or similar automation and orchestration tools.

• Good grasp of OS platforms - Linux and Windows. 5+ years

• Experience with BASH and PowerShell scripting. 5+ years

• Experience building distributed systems, frameworks and RESTful APIs.

• Experience with the Django REST framework, or similar Pythonic REST frameworks like Flask.

• Knowledge of database and messaging systems (MySql, Redis, RabbitMQ).

• Experience with revision control (especially Git)

• Nice to have, hands-on experience with Chef

• Bachelor or Masters in Computer Science/Engineering or related field.​
