Job Description

The Visa Innovation Centre consists of a team of design, research, facilitation and technology specialists. We work on exciting projects and co-creations, combining Design Thinking with innovative research approaches and technology to deliver insightful and actionable solutions for our partners. We are part of the wider Innovation & Strategic Partnerships team working with stakeholders across the company and industry on projects that help define the future of commerce in Asia Pacific.

As an Analyst for Events, Communications and Marketing for the Visa Innovation Centre, you’ll work on various initiatives to help us tell our story and support the engagements we create for our partners across Asia Pacific. From writing content and managing collaterals, to assisting with the development and execution of events and experiences for our clients and partners, you’ll play a key role in supporting and driving these efforts. You’ll help create communications that we’ll share internally and externally, with a focus on developing new, relevant content for instant social sharing.

The role will suit someone who is proactive and enthusiastic, loves working in a fast-paced environment, has a hunger to constantly learn and develop, has a high level of attention to detail and is a natural collaborator. You need to be a flexible and creative thinker, agile in your approach to your work and highly focused on execution and delivery. Writing and publishing content in a B2B / professional environment is a key part of this role, so a capability and flair for written communications is necessary. It would be great to have experience or knowledge of marketing and event platforms…but we’re also happy to have you learn these skills on the job. 

Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of this role will include:

  • Manage and execute against a calendar of communication opportunities; both existing, and helping to identify new channels and opportunities to share news from the Visa Innovation Centre
  • Write and publish regular content across various internal and external platforms, including social channels, newsletters, articles, websites and other platforms
  • Work with internal stakeholder groups to create and manage collateral and materials for Visa Innovation Centre engagements and events
  • Help to develop and execute our Innovation Centre event engagement strategy; across internal, client/partner and wider industry events
  • Assist with event operations and logistics required to execute client and partner engagements to the highest standard (both within the Singapore Innovation Centre and in other Asia Pacific country locations as required)
  • Manage agency and partner relationships across Events, Marketing and Communications
  • Source and manage suppliers, venues and partners across our communications, marketing and event opportunities

Qualifications

  • This role would suit someone early in their career - a graduate with relevant skills or someone with 1 - 2 years experience
  • Highly organised and efficient at managing multiple tasks / projects at the same time, with a focus on execution and delivery
  • Excellent written skills and a proven competency to write and publish materials
  • High level of attention to detail across all aspects of your work 
  • An understanding and/or willingness to learn about and apply Human Centred Design principles to your work
  • A client-first approach across everything you do
  • A friendly, open and collaborative approach to your work and management of stakeholder relationships
  • A team player with a flexible, can-do attitude
