Required years of Experience:

5+ years of extensive hands-on experience in the performance testing and engineering
space.

Responsibilities:

• Understand application usage models by interviewing relevant stakeholders AND analyzing existing production load patterns.

• Derive work load models appropriately scaled to the performance test environment.

• Work with multiple product teams to design, create, execute, and report on capacity, scalability, stability, and stress tests.

• Design, develop and maintain a library of Loadrunner scripts that are modular, extensible and highly
  maintainable.

• Report meaningful results with robust first level analysis of performance bottlenecks.

• Partner with technical teams to facilitate troubleshooting of performance issues.

• Communicate the current state of Performance with Product Teams.

Qualifications:

• A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or any related engineering discipline.

• A strong performance development background; atleast 5+ years of hands-on experience with multiple Loadrunner protocols.

• Experience with Performance Center will be a big plus.

• Hands on experience in atleast one programming language.

• Experience with monitoring, profiling, and diagnostic tools will be a big plus.

• Knowledge of scripting languages will be a plus (Perl, Python, shell script.)

• Ability to design and develop re-usable,readable, and automated performance test scripts.

• Experience writing SQL statements in order to conduct replication tests is a plus.

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

• Ability to work seamlessly as part of a multi-site, multi-cultural engineering team.
