Job Description

Inovant, LLC, a Visa Inc. company, needs Staff Software Engineers in Austin, TX to participate in the entire service lifecycle, from design through the development and test process to production support. Work with a lean agile team of Java engineers to build and maintain a highly scalable data mediation engine based on the Hadoop platform to process billions of payment transactions daily. Create re-usable mediation services and operational portals to consolidate data mediation solutions and increase operation efficiency. Transform pricing rules to increase pricing flexibility in the next generation billing system. Standardize inbound and outbound data interfaces to achieve seamless integration and loose coupling. Implement continuous integration/testing/deployment practices and automation frameworks to increase productivity. Collaborate across global businesses and technology organizations, providing sound business analysis, process, change leadership, and service delivery. Identify opportunities for further enhancements and refinements on standards, processes, application functionalities, and operation excellence. Work with architectural and security teams to design, build, and maintain services that are compliant and meet Visa security standards. No direct reports, and no managerial duties, or responsibilities. Individual contributor level position only.

Qualifications

Employer will accept Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related technical field, followed by nine years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or in a computer-related occupation.
