Inovant, LLC, a Visa Inc. company, needs Senior Software Engineers in Austin, TX to be responsible for designing, coding, documenting and implementing new applications and existing programs. Contribute to enhancements, and corrections to existing B2B applications codebase. Participate in design and code review sessions as appropriate, to ensure the quality of work. Develop code that complies with design specifications and meets security and Java/J2EE best practices. Develop code that adheres to all standards for security, is easily maintainable and has high system performance. Collaborate with Development and QA staff on individual and team deliverables. Create documentation and procedures for installation and maintenance. Build working relationships with global and virtual teams on software development. Identify opportunities for future enhancements and refinements to standards, best practices and development methodologies. Work closely with project team and other groups, including Network, QA, Ops, and Engineering. This position will not supervise others. No direct reports and no managerial duties involved. Individual contributor level role only.

Employer will accept Master’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field and three years of work experience in job offered or in a software engineering-related occupation.
