Job Description

Inovant, LLC, a Visa Inc. company, needs Systems Analysts in Austin, TX to be responsible for supporting critical applications and ensuring the stability of the applications. Perform proactive maintenance activities, engage in automation activities, and perform root cause analysis and remediation. Write and maintain scripts to monitor system activity, including application smoke test activities during pre and post production implementations. Responsible for providing 24x7 Application Support across multiple visa applications. Apply code and operation break fixes and other proactive maintenance activities, and will evaluate the issues reported by Visa clients and members in order to provide ongoing solutions. Manage the performance and tuning of several Visa applications, and the service and ticket service-level agreements (SLAs) and will manage the workflow to achieve the SLAs. Determine configuration and operational requirements for development teams, and design test criterions and test plans. Participate in the decision making relating to applications systems to be deployed in production. Assess risk associated with control and policy exceptions. Execute decisive action to preserve and maintain service availability, performance, integrity, capacity, and security. Participate and determine root causes for service failure and support escalation. This role will not supervise others. No direct reports and no managerial duties involved. Individual contributor level role only. Responsible for providing 24x7 Application Support across multiple visa applications.

Qualifications

Employer will accept Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or related technical field and four years of work experience in job offered or in a computer systems analyst-related occupation.
