Inovant, LLC, a Visa Inc. company, needs Staff QA Engineers in Foster City, California to be responsible for the quality of large-scale technology initiatives, and interacting with business and technology stakeholders across the enterprise; participating in design and development process, grooming meetings, and making test development decisions based on best practices; serving as cross-domain lead, as needed, and performing code reviews, conducting bug triage and escalation of critical issues; working with a Scrum team to plan, write, execute, and refactor manual and automated test cases; serving as subject-matter expert for major components and/or application domains; testing and certifying features for release; managing configurations, builds, branching, and deployment issues related to delivered code; reviewing and challenging requirements and implementations designs; leading detailed design of test development frameworks and tools; conducting reviews for tests and test cases; implementing best-fit automation framework and corresponding tests; writing utilities and automation tools using Java, REST, Python, Groovy, to name a few programming languages; leading root-cause analysis and tracking defect resolution to completion; reviewing and providing feedback on development code, test designs, and test cases; communicating status frequently in daily Scrum; participating in cross-group and internal customer feature demos; and documenting process, designs, test results, and analyses. This position will not supervise others. No direct reports, and no managerial duties involved. Individual contributor level role only.

Employer will accept Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or related technical field, followed by seven years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or in a computer engineering-related occupation.
