Job Description

Visa is currently seeking a Financial Systems Analyst to play a critical role in the implementation of financial
applications. In this dynamic and challenging position, the Financial Systems Analyst will be part of a team in
the Finance Systems Strategy (FSS) organization in the Asia Pacific and CEMEA regions. Excellent critical thinking, data analysis, and communications skills are critical for this complex role. 

The purpose of the FSS organization is to lead the development, implementation and maintenance of the
financial systems strategy for the global finance function. Key FSS activities include partnering with Finance business leaders to identify business priorities, developing a roadmap, managing business requirements, working with business and IT partners to design and build systems, coordinating and performing User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and providing post go-live user support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop business requirements, enhancements, UAT and post go-live support for Accounting, Procurement, Accounts Payable, Planning, Analytics, Revenue and Billing systems.

  • Support system enhancements in the AP and CEMEA regions under the overall multi-year global financial systems strategy and roadmap

  • With supervision, partner with Information Technology and Finance Managers to understand business needs and develop solutions for financial systems applications

  • Work within a complex and changing environment, to drive delivery of solutions and meet service levels.

  • Develop Subject Matter Expertise on functionality of Visa financial systems in order to
    provide support to Finance and non-Finance users and groups

  • Act as the key interface between the business and IT in the coordination and execution of project requirements review, test plan review, and UAT development.

  • Execute all aspects of UAT and system testing activities, including but not limited to test strategy & data, test execution, and test approval.  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a Systems/Accounting/Finance area

  • 2 to 4 years of progressive experience preferably with large, multi-national,
    publicly-traded companies.

  • Experience and knowledge of one or more of the following financial system applications
    preferred: Oracle E-Business, IBM TM1, Hyperion Planning, Oracle Revenue
    Management & Billing.

  • Excellent data analysis skills and demonstrated experience in testing, validation, Quality
    Assurance, User Acceptance Testing, and related disciplines.

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

  • Strong time management skills and ability to effectively juggle multiple projects at
    one time and meet project deadlines.

  • Understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process
