CyberSource Corporation, a Visa Inc. company, needs Senior Software Engineers in Foster City, California to build and enhance the mission critical Fraud Management systems within CyberSource. This highly visible position will require design and development of various features to enhance the fraud detection capabilities of the CyberSource product line leveraging Java, JEE and other open source technologies while working in an agile collaborative team. As a key member of the development team, the candidate should be comfortable with driving technical ideas and communicating clearly with technical as well as non-technical audiences. Responsible for gathering and analyzing requirements from product owners. Design and develop highly scalable and fault-tolerant systems using Java, JEE and open source technologies. Provide technical and architectural guidance for systems that are reliable, massively scalable, highly available (99.999% uptime), and maintainable. Understand and adhere to SOA principles. Foster development best practices within the team. Identify and drive process improvements. Facilitate communication with cross-functional groups. Work on both server-side and UI-side modules. Some travel (less than 10%) may be required to work on projects at various, unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
