The Three pillars of the OMC are Engage, Experience and Collaborate. The Engage pillar encompasses an industry leading client engagement program where VISA clients and eco-system partners are briefed on the evolving payments landscape and disruption in commerce. The program is open exclusively to VISA clients such as Issuers, Merchants and Acquirers as well as strategic partners, FinTech companies, governments and regulators.

The Innovation Center Coordinator will be responsible for creating unique experiences for visitors to OMC and staying ahead of and anticipating their needs. The Innovation Center Coordinator is an integral member of the team and will help to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys a hospitality role, is energetic, confident and capable, and has depth and experience working with interesting visitors on a daily basis. This role is based on-site in our San Francisco office, 5 days a week during working hours and infrequently earlier or later on days for special events.

Job Responsibilities

This individual will be responsible for the day to day organizational and administrative tasks of One Market Center (OMC), Visa’s Innovation center. This person will interface on a daily basis with the OMC engagement team to ensure the One Market Center facility is in a ready state at all times, and manages the administrative responsibilities for the center teams.

  • Responsible for all logistics related to engagements and other events (i.e., catering, badges, room set-up, restaurant reservations, transportation and other special reservations)
  •  Responsible for facilitating specialized touches for client engagements (OMC customized payment cards, client photography, specialized lighting, gift bags, other bespoke arrangements as needed)
  • Act as greeter and closer for all clients; welcome them to the facility and escort them to the rooms; provide closing surveys, take group photograph and escort to the elevator·
  • Work closely with other departments and vendors that support engagement operations (Facilities, IT, Security, external vendors). Source, schedule and manage all supporting services while they are onsite, including catering
  • Point person for working with Visa facilities team and Executive Administrators to ensure OMC facility is always in a ready state for clients or internal meetings. On point for arranging configurations including maintenance, set up and tear down of OMC facility chairs, tables, etc.
  • Responsible for setting up flower/plant services and general look and feel of OMC·
  • Be able to work a flexible schedule occasionally in order to support events that take place in the early morning or evening (advance notice is provided)
  • Ensure the OMC meets expectations with regard to appearance, cleanliness, organization, functionality and overall quality experience; monitor digital signage
  • Maintain inventory and order supplies for OMC teams (e.g. technology, office, gifts, retail store)
  • Organize all shipping and receiving for OMC teams
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned
