Job Description
The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who can work independently in a
fast paced environment with limited supervision. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build great
relationships, generate consensus and promote excitement and enthusiasm for
business intelligence and payment analytics initiatives are critical qualities
for success. This person must have a heavy focus on working closely with
product development to deliver breakthrough results and evangelizing those
results within the company for the benefit of partners.
- Work with product leadership team to
develop on the vision of payment
analytics for partners, and develop requirements for a scalable analytics
solution that can quickly turn data into insights and pinpoint potential
areas of payment operation improvement.
Collaborate
with both internal and external stakeholders to identify gaps in data analytics
and payment performance metrics and proactively incorporate them into the
product roadmap.
- Create user stories and document product
requirements; develop well-formed features specifications, business
justifications and acceptance criteria.
Work
closely with product development and program management organizations to ensure
product requirements are translated into working software following the agile
process, in a timely manner.
- Own and develop clear and concise product
collateral in order to inform and educate internal stakeholders and
clients of its desired behavior e.g. Product Guides, Integration Guides,
Release Notes - Work with Business Operations and
Merchant Support teams to develop best in class tools and reporting in
support of day to day operations
Quickly
resolve customer impacting issues with development teams
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business
Administration, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or equivalent fields.7+ years of experience in software and technology product
management, including business requirements gathering, use case analysis and
user story writing, competitive analysis, value proposition definition, product differentiation,
cost/benefit analysis, and product commercialization.Strong experience in designing and launching large-scale data
analytics productIn-depth knowledge of statistical
data analysis, machine learning, or other data analysis skills a big plusPrior experience in
payment or e-commerce business is preferredAbility
to work with internal product development and engineering teams to deliver
products on schedule and with good qualityFamiliar
with agile software development methodologyStrong
desire and aptitude to be very hands-on in all stages of a product lifecycle
- Strong
analytical and problem solving abilities; ability to use hard data and
metrics to back up assumptions and evaluate outcomes
Ability to juggle multiple priorities
