Job Description

As part of the Global Brand & Product Marketing team, this Director will be responsible for oversight of product marketing strategy to drive business growth. Key responsibilities include global product positioning development, product marketing strategy including go-to-market approaches, performance evaluation and identification of best practices.

Responsibilities:
• Develop product marketing strategies for core products including opportunity assessment, investment needs and outcomes
• Develop go-to-market approaches for relevant core products across paid, earned, owned channels
• Produce, assess and refine communication platforms for relevant core products
• Support and where necessary lead relationship with Visa marketing agencies
• Build and operationalize consumer learning plan to ensure ongoing target audience insight and understanding
• Set goals for products and projects, track performance using internal and external sources
• Assess best practices relevant to product categories
• Develop deep level understanding of competitive activity and reflect in ongoing marketing approaches
• Consult, train and partner with regional and local teams to ensure marketing excellence

Qualifications

Qualifications:
• Minimum 8 years business experience, in product, brand or consulting roles – preferably within a global organization
• Track record of success in developing and implementing product marketing strategy ideally for global brands
• Strong working relationships with and management of external agency partners
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate successfully in a highly matrixed organization
• Proven ability to partner, communicate and manage/navigate through multiple disciplines and organizational groups
• Experience building executive level communications and delivering presentations
• Proficiency in Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word and Excel is required
• Graduate degree required

• Product/brand strategy and positioning, ideally on global level
• Proven track record in leading large scale projects
• Teamwork, interpersonal & relationship-building skills, and ability to lead by influence and example
