Job Description

Position Summary:

Sr. Financial Systems Analyst (TM1) will be part of the finance team that provides support to FP&A users for reporting, analytics, business systems and process. Additionally, this role provides TM1 business administration
to support budgeting and forecasting processes along with various other FP&A reporting & analytics requirements. This role will primarily support the North America and Global TM1 Revenue Planning & Analytical area, with a backup support to the other regions as required. The FP&A business users are located across various regions, hence this is a crucial role that requires knowledge of both local and global revenue planning process. This position is located in Foster City and will report to the Director of Financial Systems Strategy- Planning Systems

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain regional/global specific business rules, cube building, master data, hierarchies & various mappings

  • Perform data Loads (monthly, quarterly, yearly) & data back-ups

  • Modify existing or enable new revenue forecasting calculations due to business process changes

  • Open/close planning cycles (communications, coordination)

  • Perform month-end close related FP&A support activities, Forecast/Budget cycles, ad hoc requirements

  • Maintain all TM1 training material and deliver end user Training

  • Provide end user support (research, functionality, etc.)

  • Write business requirements for majorenhancements, translate business requirements into design, and provide detail functional and technical design specifications to IT Dev team

  • Work with IT dev team to support development of all regional/global system enhancements

  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for all system changes and enhancements

  • Participate and support business recovery/continuity planning testing

Qualifications

  • Total 5-8 years of TM1 Business Analyst experience preferably supporting driver based revenue planning and analytics. 2+ years in revenue planning and reporting experience is highly desirable.

  • Solid understanding of FP&A fundamentals and finance data/process flows

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Proven success and industry reputation in building partnerships across business and IT stakeholders to deliver positive results

  • Strong work ethic with commitment to customer service to various stakeholders is a must

  • IBM Cognos TM1 System proficiency is a must

  • Tableau, Advanced Excel and other web-based Business Intelligence tools is preferred
