Job Description

Visa U.S.A. Inc., a Visa Inc. company, needs Directors – Innovation Program Management in San Francisco, CA to be responsible for working cross-functionally with development, operations, sales, marketing, finance, risk, and legal. Work with Visa’s Innovation and Strategic Partnerships Account executives to structure projects and/or programs including Google, Samsung, and Apple . Own the project management of the projects to launch new payment methods, using Visa's technology. Liaise with Visa's strategic partners to launch new payment methods. Develop a plan after meeting with various project participants. Brief project participants of overall status, problems and solutions. Define and track project milestones. Provide project status reports. Oversee scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed on time, cost, and quality parameters. Represent the project in various project update meetings. Responsible for early identification of issues, determining potential resolutions, communicating status, tracking and resolving them in a timely manner. No direct reports, and no managerial duties. Individual contributor level role. Position is not managerial level within the corporate hierarchy. Some travel (less than 5%) may be required to work on projects at various unanticipated sites throughout the United States.

Qualifications

Employer will accept Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, followed by ten years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience in job offered or in a computer-related occupation. Some travel (less than 5%) may be required to work on projects at various unanticipated sites throughout the United States.
