Job Description

Visa operates the world's largest retail electronic payments network and is one of the most recognized global financial services brands. Visa facilitates global commerce through the transfer of value and information among financial institutions, merchants, consumers, businesses and government entities.     

We offer a range of branded payment product platforms, which our financial institution clients use to develop and offer credit, charge, deferred debit, prepaid and cash access programs to cardholders. Visa's card platforms provide consumers, businesses, merchants and government entities with a secure, convenient and reliable way to pay and be paid in 170 countries and territories.     

The Corporate Information Technology (CIT) organization provides support for Finance, Revenue, Human Resources, Customer Relationship Management and Corporate Risk applications for Visa. This includes managing system requirements, design, development, integration, quality assurance, implementation and maintenance of corporate applications. The team works closely with business owners of these services to deliver industry leading packaged software and customer developed solutions.      

The candidate will work in Revenue & Pricing Systems DevOps team, designing, configuring and testing applications and systems to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Finance business functions. The ideal candidate will bring experience in requirement gathering, functional configurations, system and data analysis; and testing of large volume financial systems. This role will also participate in planning and execution of application testing, doing advanced application configurations, system and data analysis to ensure successful delivery of business capabilities.     

Key responsibilities:

  • Designing, configuration and testing of ORMB solutions for revenue systems including pricing, rating, billing, accounts receivable, accounts payables and revenue reporting functions. 
  • Work with business stakeholder and technical product manager to clarify business requirements and come up with functional designs and comprehensive test scenarios.
  • Engage business partner to deliver projects and support systems. Engage in collaboration activities with business partners on business requirements elaboration, configuration, and testing requirements (both functional and non-functional).
  • Collaborate with business partners on user acceptance testing including defining the entry and exit criteria, environment and data readiness, triaging the defects.
  • Collaborate across global businesses and technology organizations, providing sound business analysis, process, and change management.
  • Create functional designs, test strategies, test plans, test cases, test data and execute the tests to validate the solutions.
  • Create test automation suites, using standard practices and tools.
  • Work with limited direction, usually within a complex environment, to drive delivery of solutions and meet service levels.
  • Manage multiple test phases like functional testing, integration testing, performance testing and regression testing.
  • Collaborate closely with the product manager and the development team to ensure that the defects and enhancements are managed in a timely manner.

  • Must be self-motivated with ability to work in a fast paced agile delivery model.      

Qualifications

  • 4 years or more of relevant experience in application analysis/design, testing, test automation and business system analysis.
  • Experience in evaluating business requirements and creating functional and solution designs.
  • Experience working with business to clarify and elaborate the requirements and turning them into comprehensive test scenarios.
  • Experience preparing test data based on the business scenarios and writing tools to prepare test data.
  • Ability to study and understand complex data models and write complex SQLs.
  • Experience in creating test strategy, test plans and executing test cases. Provide metrics on execution and defects.
  • Business domain knowledge in the areas of financial applications, billing, general ledger and accounting practices.
  • Prior experience in testing, building, implementing and supporting Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB) or other Oracle Utilities Application framework based product (e.g. CC&B) is a big plus.
  • Understanding of ORMB/CC&B functionalities (Transaction Feed Management, Rules Engine, Billing, Rating, Pricing, GL, Payments, Credit/Collections, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivables) is a plus.
  • ORMB Configuration experience with setting up Customer Information, Rate Schedules, Approval Workflow, Pricing, TFM/Rules, Zones etc is a plus.
  • Experience working with cucumber and Jenkins for test automation will be a big plus.
  • Prior experience working in Agile delivery model.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a broad group of stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a Computer Science and Engineering disciplineExperience in mid-to-
  • large size companies (2000+ employees).
