In this role, the Sr. Director of Product Development (IOT) will shape the way payments are integrated into the IOT ecosystem. You will actively engage with partners across the IoT ecosystem (Auto, Consumer Electronics, Wearables, Municipals, Connectivity, etc) to Conceptualize, Design and Build new experiences that enable seamless commerce in a connected world.

You will lead a cross-functional team across Product, Design and Engineering to develop proof of concepts and live market pilots using human-centric design principles with a goal of accelerating the commercialization of payments in the ecosystem.

You bring prior experience in developing a product strategy in an emerging ecosystem, ability to identify and understand emerging technologies and consumer trend, and experience in hands-on development of hardware and software products.You have a bias for action and are able to inspire and empower others with your vision

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team to develop a Point of View and Product Strategy for the future of IOT Payments.
• Lead internal and external teams rapidly convert ideas into working prototypes, mashing together solutions/capabilities that exist within Visa or externally to create live market tests.
• Leverage learnings to inform Visa and Client strategic product roadmaps and drive coordination with core product teams to enable commercialization
• Work closely with Internal and external product and partner teams to ensure alignment on goals/scope, plan critical path and operational risks, and ensure transparent communication.

• At least 10 years of relevant experience in Leading teams in product and partner development at consumer tech/IoT company
• Experience Designing and Launching 1.0 products
  
• Experience working in Human Centered Design or other Innovation Methodologies
• Experience working with external partners in collaborative development
• Knowledge in mobile, web and IoT application development and UX design
• Experience and knowledge of Agile (Scrum) project methodology and practices
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
