Job Description
Position Summary
The Director, Benefit Delivery resides in the US Consumer Credit Products organization and is responsible for partnering with Visa Marketing, U.S. Financial Institution Sales and Consulting teams, and directly with financial institution clients to drive business building opportunities for Visa and our clients through activation of Visa’s travel and lifestyle benefits. These benefits include, but not limited to, the Visa Signature Luxury Hotel Collection and other hotel offerings, flight discounts, airport benefits, premium car discounts, and golf benefits.
This role will also assist with the launch of new Visa Signature and Visa Infinite card products, and will be involved in the sourcing, onboarding and ongoing management of new travel and lifestyle benefits for Visa’s Consumer Credit business in North America.
This is an individual contributor role responsible for solving unique and complex problems that have a broad impact on the business. He/she will be results-oriented, flexible, collaborative and consultative.
Responsibilities
Develop an overall engagement framework for Visa’s travel and lifestyle benefits, in direct alignment with Visa’s North America Affluent Credit strategy
In conjunction with agency support, create and manage all go-to-market collateral, including benefit overviews, marketing messaging, creative assets and implementation requirements.
Develop and maintain affluent benefit activation calendar and sales materials for internal use and consultation
Actively engage with internal teams to create innovative affluent marketing strategies that leverage assets and capabilities
Define and manage research projects into importance of benefits and level of engagement of industry players
Lead collaborative efforts with internal stakeholders and with clients to identify and pursue new benefit opportunities that will drive cardholder acquisition, usage and loyalty
Laisse with U.S. Financial Institution Sales and Consulting teams to identify client demand for travel and lifestyle benefit enhancements
Partner with Product Management team to develop competitive affluent credit product strategies
Work with Sales and Consulting teams to utilize benefits to win and retain credit card issuer and cobrand client deals, including leading the Travel & Lifestyle Benefits response to client RFPs
Work with clients to customize benefits and benefit marketing plans to differentiate their products and capture affluent cardholder spend
Work closely with Operations and Concierge teams to ensure best possible customer
service experience
Maintain strong understanding of competitive activity and affluent market to deliver best
strategic recommendations to clientsDevelop and manage ongoing benchmarking of travel and lifestyle benefit utilization by
clients to support , enhancements, benefit business reviews, ROI models and renewalsManage agency resources
The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating cross functional teams which will include, but will not be limited to: product management, sales and consulting, legal, analytics, marketing, corporate communications, agency partners and the benefit providers to ensure the client access and utilization of Visa’s travel and lifestyle benefits is consistent with our strategy and executed effectively.
Qualifications
Experience and qualifications
10+ years of proven experience in affluent product management, benefit procurement and management or strategic partnerships, ideally in the payments space
Demonstrated experience in client-facing roles
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate analytics into actionable insights
Ability to collaborate and work effectively across functional areas to influence and
achieve consensus on goals and objectivesAbility to explain complex business concepts to a broad audience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to establish effective relationships internally with all levels including executive management, and externally with clients and partners
Proficient on all Microsoft products including Excel, Word, and Outlook
Advanced level PowerPoint required
MBA or further academic qualifications preferred
