Job Description

The Senior O&I Quality & Efficiency Business Analyst will develop and establish multi-year financial efficiency programs that optimize the values of O&I Investments. This role will also be responsible for taking the global O&I budget and breaking it down into services and identifying opportunities for improvement to our tools and processes. This position will gain an in-depth understanding of the business, strategic direction, organizational structure, and key vendor partnerships. They will help define success for IT financial efficiency and cost clarity programs by creating and tracking key metrics and developing consumption optimization programs. The position reports to the Director – Operations & Infrastructure.

JOB SCOPE

  • Create internal benchmark indices and lead efficiency strategy based O&I programs
  • Break down O&I budget into services and identify the Total Cost of Ownership of these services
  • Create, review, track and benchmark new and historical ROI initiatives
  • Analyze data to identify immediate cash flow savings and improvement opportunities
  • Create data driven business cases to invest or divest in said opportunities
  • Recommend effective solutions to highly complicated business and technical issues
  • Create advanced BI visuals that offer key actionable insights
  • Keen understanding of budgets, financials, and measuring business value via leading edge metrics
  • Identify opportunities to improve our business analytics capabilities
  • Be technology consultants to leadership across multiple functional areas
  • Manage cost centers and capital asset budgets (pipeline management: creation, growth)

Qualifications

  • Must have 7+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a tech environment
  • Must have technical background to understand the key infrastructure products and understand the core concepts behind “running IT like a business”
  • Must have strong quantitative skills & experience taking raw data and drawing actionable insights from it
  • Vision and process oriented
  • Understanding of data centers and IT frameworks
  • Must have prior experience in creating cost transparency and cost clarity programs for CIO/CTO office
  • Must have demonstrated capability in working with large virtual teams
  • Ability to conduct research such as market size and trends, competitive analysis
  • Ability to collect and analyze relevant quantitative and qualitative data sets
  • Strong communication skills including written, oral, and presentation abilities
  • Business and technical writing skills; executive level presentation skills
  • Organizational agility and the ability to influence stakeholders and various levels of senior leadership
  • Extremely comfortable with Excel and iProcurement, Hyperion
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and follow through on completion of high-profile projects
  • Proven critical thinking and problem solving skills
  • Organizational agility
  • Must be comfortable with ambiguity and fast change with an ability to adapt quickly and easily
  • Individuals who have demonstrated ability to build a high performance and collaborative work environment in highly matrixed organization

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Business or related field
  • MBA degree preferred
