As a Senior Technical Test Engineering Lead, you already have the ability to understand complex system architectures, pinpoint both high and low-level problem areas, and influence solutions and optimization while staying current on development and test trends, methodologies and standards. Join our team and help us achieve our goals by developing a deep understanding of system and application requirements while applying the best test strategies and latest technical solutions.  You’ll solve problems using a broad range of technologies including .NET/IIS, Selenium, Java, Linux, JavaScript/Python, SQL and mobile technologies. You will leverage your technologist background to conduct early project scoping and collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish testability goals across n-tier platforms. You will drive process improvement in terms of test coverage, automation, and testing practices. Ultimately you’ll put your comprehensive test plans into practice and monitor test results to validate functionality, performance, reliability, stability, security and compatibility with legacy and external systems; you will partner with Product Management, Project Management, Software Development, and Quality Engineers to ensure that a high quality product is delivered every time within an agile development cycle. You will also be leading efforts to keep us current with all testing tools and technologies on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities:

• Provides strategic and tactical leadership of the test strategy and planning cycles for multiple projects that you will lead


• Leverages technology in the most creative manner to build the right testing tools at the right time


• Understands the big picture and helps keep the team focused on the right tasks to meet timelines. Leverages strong test engineering expertise and collaboration skills to identify required test activities to successfully deliver the program while ensuring task assignments are in place with the right team members


• Reports and escalate issues with mitigations and options for the right resolution. Identify risks, perform risk analysis, works with stakeholders to understand those risks and helps reach the decision best for our customers


• Provides thought leadership and coaching for other test engineers to drive continuous improvements that can be leveraged by the test engineering org.


• Strong attention to detail to help ensure that programs are developed and validated the right way to ensure customer success. This includes:

• 5+ years of experience as a hands on coder in a large scale project

• 10+ years of experience as part of a Dev/Test team with progressively increasing responsibilities in design, planning, and coding.

• Web services standards and related technologies (PHP, Ruby, XML, XSL, X-Path, JSON, Rest, Soap, WS*), Web Security.

• Strong understanding of C# and design principles, methodologies and best practices

• Outstanding communication, analytical and problem-solving skills. High attention to detail with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and distill it to the right audience.

• Demonstrated knowledge of SQL and RDBMS concepts.

• Deep understanding of Object Oriented Principles

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum team

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. MS is a Plus.
