Visa is seeking highly energetic, passionate, technology enthusiasts for Marketing Analytics & Intelligence team. As a Senior Analyst you will work with product specialists, technical team and systems engineers. Partner with Business stakeholders with the goal of providing them with the ability to make decisions and gain insights through data. Build applications and solutions for 1st party or 3rd party integration for Visa Marketing and Communications to optimize Marketing spend and improve Brand Marketing Funnel

Responsibilities

- Strong understanding and implementation of predictive / analytical modeling techniques, theories, principles, and practices
- Excellent knowledge of data mining / predictive modeling tools such as SQL, R, and Python.

- Large volume data processing using Big Data infrastructure is required. Experience in analyzing, defining and processing complex transforms, rule driven business logic, parameterized processing of business data sets.

- Build solutions on large Hadoop clusters using Pig, Hive, Map/Reduce, H-Base, No SQL DBs or equivalent is required.

- Sufficient communication and presentation skills with ability to present data analysis results to various levels of management is required.

- Masters or equivalent in CS or related field from a good institute

- 6+ years of industry experience on data analytics

- Strong background in SQL, data analysis, data modeling, reporting, application frameworks or equivalent is required. . Strong knowledge of Unix and Windows based operating systems is required.

- Strong data analysis and data validation skills is mandatory. Ability to analyze , process and present very large data sets and present data variations/discrepancies to a technical and business users is required

- Thriving in self-motivated internal-innovation driven environment

- Adapting fast to new application knowledge and changes

- Candidate should be detailed oriented with good problem solving and data analysis skills.

- Ability to learn new technologies and work on very complex problems is required.
