• The VISA Marketing Systems Team is looking for a Staff SW Engineer with strong technical skills, with a complete understanding of the agile development process. You should have hands on experience with Java/J2EE, HTML, AJAX, CSS, and JavaScript and a passion for creating the best user experience. You should have strong knowledge of the overall software delivery lifecycle and activities and Standups, release and sprint planning, reviews, demos and retrospectives, ensure quality and completeness of the product through unit, integration, and regression testing and Adheres to architecture standards, risk management and security policies.
  

You will primarily work with a Marketo marketing automation platform, be the expert on the platform and its configurations, manage security requirements, provide technical expertise and design architecture for data interface between Marketo and Visa applications (API usage/creation), design HTML landing pages, forms in Marketo using CSS and Javascripts. This role also works with other technology team like Hadoop, web analytics and Google DMP platform to provide extensive hook with data exchange. This position will report to the Sr. Director of the Marketing Technology organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop technology needs for Visa's Marketing System's technology stack.
• Work with Chief Architect and other technology staffing the organization to define and own architecture of marketing programs and operational workflows.  
• Collaborate with project team members (Product Managers, Architects, Analyst, Developers, Project Managers, etc.) to ensure development and implementation of new data driven business solutions. 

• BS or MS in Computer Science or related field 
• Overall 8+ years of experience in delivering technology solutions, web development experience working on Windows/Linux, Java platform with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX and Spring frameworks
• Experience with data analysis and creating/using APIs
• Experience in Java/J2EE, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript skills for implementing web technologies
• Understanding and experience in JQuery, Spring, AJAX and JSON
• Excellent understanding of development concepts and SDLC methodologies
• Strong customer focus, excellent problem solving and analytical skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Understanding of OOAD and software design patterns
• Experience of testing at the unit, integration and system levels
• Experience with enterprise grade application server such as Tomcat, IIS
• Understanding of multithreaded software design
• Expertise in AJAX and Spring frameworks
• Experience with Agile/Lean practices such as XP or Kanban
• Participation in Test Driven Development
• Participate in Continuous Integration or Continuous Delivery pipeline
• Familiarity with frameworks like AngularJS, RequireJS, wireJS
• AEM adobe UI experience is preferred but not required
