Job Description

We have unique and exciting opportunities for you as we continue to grow our team. You will have the opportunity to develop innovative content and establish new delivery methods to disseminate deep industry knowledge for issuer clients across the globe. Key responsibilities in this role include:

  • Implement strategies and solutions that drive increased approval rates of domestic and cross-border transactions while minimizing losses
  • Engage clients to conduct authorization and fraud analysis, performance evaluation, and implement best practices
    • Utilize and interpret analytics developed by VPS, Client Support Services (CSS) and analytic teams to identify opportunities for client performance improvement reviews
    • Facilitate, manage and execute payment quality reviews with target clients to minimize false positive declines
    • Work with CSS and sales teams to prepare and deliver sell in decks to clients across the region
    • Undertake periodic performance tracking of client payment quality following engagements in partnership with CSS
    • Lead the client to action through illustrating the financial upside and the benefits to overall customer life cycle and customer engagement
    • Assist the client to work through barriers to implementation, including identifying appropriate solutions and working with processors, as necessary
  • Through consulting engagements, identify opportunities to scale and productize solutions
  • Recognize and cultivate themes in client needs that can be met through scaled solutions like content delivery, self-assessments, or other automated tools
  • Establish business cases and projected ROI on investment to identify and prioritize opportunities
  • Support the development of prototypes and client feedback sessions

Qualifications

We are looking for individuals with deep payments risk expertise to provide analysis and strategic thinking to shape the services we deliver to clients, lead consulting engagements and develop actionable and scalable insights and solutions. The individual should have:

International experience in electronic payments

A thorough knowledge of credit and fraud risk policies including issuer authorization and decline policies

Good knowledge of issuer and processor operations and systems

Expert knowledge, skills and demonstrated track record across a range of functions including various payment channels, including point of sale and e-commerce

Ability to keep oneself updated in new development and advancements in payment technology

Additional requirements are:

  • Multi-functional project management and strategy development skills; ability to manage teams and deliverables - and to coordinate, collaborate, and demonstrate results to other Visa divisions, financial institutions, merchants, and potential alliance partners
  • Excellent written English, spelling, punctuation and grammar; immaculate proofreading and editing skill
  • Great communication skills, high energy and ability to work independently and thrive with limited guidance
  • Highly organized with unfailing attention to detail yet equally adept at big picture priorities
  • Flexible and creative thinker with the ability to define business tradeoffs, generate out-of-the-box solutions and manage uncertainty
  • Ability to lead and influence decisions of others, including senior management
  • Willingness to travel (Up to 50% of the time)
