We are seeking an Innovation & Strategic Partnerships Senior Director who possesses a rare blend of skills and aptitudes to support the global I&SP team. The ideal candidate is able to act systemically and drive outcomes cross-functionally across a variety of external and internal go-to-market activities. He/she will be responsible for a wide range of activities to strengthen the go-to-market agenda of this growing team and drive greater business outcomes of this growing and dynamic function.

This person will be responsible for setting the Innovation & Strategic partnerships public go-to-market strategy in partnership other team members in I&SP across global and regional efforts. He/she will establish the go-to-market priorities for I&SP, create strategic intent documents outlining the objectives, context, audiences, success measures, budget emphasis and prioritization. He/she would then partner with the other teams within and outside of the I&SP function on the execution of those activities. He/she will also be responsible for all I&SP internal communications within and across functions. The person will also drive the Innovation knowledge management and the strategic training agenda in partnership with Visa University and other functions at Visa.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish go-to-market priorities and emphasis for various sub-functions of I&SP in partnership with other team members
• Create strategic intent deliverables to reflect the prioritization and solicit buy-in from key stakeholders within and outside of the function
• Drive the execution of the work in partnership with other teams within and outside the function and driving the alignment towards the strategic objectives
• Develop the strategy and lead the execution of an integrated I&SP communications plan for both within function activities and across functions
• Lead the management of all Visa University related curriculum, knowledge management and training efforts for I&SP and innovation more broadly
• Partner with HR and Corporate Communications to drive execution of an employee engagement agenda for the I&SP team
• Actively build organizational effectiveness and change management acumen within the ISP organization through education, partnership, and consultation
• Oversee a portfolio of initiatives tied to IS&P goals to drive Employer of Choice priorities
  

15+ years’ experience, with 4+ in a business role with experience in strategy, global program executions, communications, org development, and change management
Management consulting experience desired
Strong know how of the marketing and communications ecosystem and what types of programs drive maximum business impact and efficiencies
Bachelors of Science
Ability to develop and implement processes and procedures that continue to improve the current workflow and maximize group efficiency
Proven experience in content development for C-level meetings and events
Strong verbal and written communications skills - capable of developing well-structured communications and presentations
Ability to manage multiple programs/projects simultaneously
Put a premium on strong working relationships and know how to use diplomacy to get things done
Excellent attention to detail
“Can do" attitude and no hesitancy to ask questions and seek guidance
Ability to thrive in an independent working environment while managing one's time across multiple tasks
Proficiency with MS tools including Excel, Word and PowerPoint
Develop exceptional relationships and strong lines of communication across I&SP and its partners to allow for effective, on-going collaboration
