Job Description

We are looking for a passionate, authentic, and dynamic leader for Visa’s efforts to bring to life Visa’s global B2B Connect initiative. Position Summary:

As a Director, B2B Connect you will be the technical product manager responsible for guiding the
development team directly and work off the roadmap and business requirements
set by product team. In this role you will be a subject matter expert on the B2B Connect platform, working closely with the product development team to providing solution guidance. In addition, you will also be working directly with Visa’s
B2B Connect product managers to implement the business requirements. This role is technical in nature with a business focus as well. This is a unique opportunity to lead and execute a big initiative for Visa and deliver meaningful financial results.

You will be responsible for development and delivery of the global B2B payment services platform ​reporting in to B2B Connect product team. B2B Connect payment services is envisaged to be a highly reliable, best-in-class global platform that meets the needs of a wide range of financial institutions and technology partners in the ecosystem. The platform is envisioned to create a collaborative environment for banks to redefine global B2B payment experience by enabling exchange of value in real-time and derive key business insights, drive revenue, increase efficiencies and decrease risk.

The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter that can work independently in a fast paced, ambiguous environment with limited supervision. He or she must be a fast learner, who understands commercial
banking institutions, their Customers’ needs in managing payments /receivables and downstream services.


Job Scope:


  • Lead and manage multiple complex deliverables with many stakeholders, often with
    competing priorities

  • Execute a robust product roadmap for the B2B payment service initiative

  • Own B2B Connect product extension, create user stories and product design in
    partnership with product leads and engineering team

  • Establish key performance metrics and measurements for the predictable delivery of B2B
    Connect road map and supporting infrastructure. (Treasury/ settlement, operations capabilities – implementation & client support)

  • Lead, partner and support creation of technical and non-technical documentations

  • High energy level, performance oriented and passionate about B2B industry players,
    their customers, and emerging technology in the B2B cross border commerce space

  • Expertise in agile development methodologies

  • Own, facilitate and manage prioritization of product feature backlog to drive execution of
    product vision, roadmap to ensure path to delivery is clear

  • Ability to engage with technology organization in an effective and collaborative manner

  • 10 + years’ experience leading complex Technical B2B product development projects in
    the payments industry

  • Expertise in design thinking, corporate / transaction banking product development a plus

  • Demonstrated experience leading new, breakout products or initiatives (versus incremental feature/functionality)

  • Experience in developing products “from the ground up” Demonstrated project management with an ability to appropriately phase and prioritize key underlying capabilities and activities

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and an ability to communicate technical issues as well as business level value propositions to executives, sales teams and other stakeholders who may not be technical

Qualifications

Engineering background, experience in developing products “from the ground up”

Demonstrated experience leading new, breakout products or global business / technology initiatives
