Job Description

The Senior Director - Cobrand Partnership Solutions will be responsible for developing and executing partnership initiatives and marketing strategies to grow Visa's partner business with select retail co-brand merchant partners. Specific responsibilities include: optimizing co-brand program effectiveness, developing and executing market insights, analytics and marketing plans, and deepening partner engagement.

The position will work closely with various internal departments, and external merchants and financial institution partners, to optimize portfolio performance through the above initiatives.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for important retail co-brand partnerships, supporting marketing, strategy and analytic needs; be accountable for all co-brand and non-co-brand related market insights, analytics and marketing activities and marketing-related contractual commitments.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans for Visa's activities with assigned co-brand retail accounts, in conjunction with the Account Executive, and all key external and internal stakeholders.

  • Represent client's marketing, market insight and analytic needs internally within Visa which requires a thorough understanding of the client's business and marketing objectives, business and marketing strategies/key initiatives, underlying business philosophy, financial model, and key players, as well as Visa's interaction model and approach.

  • Be accountable for reporting, budget/contractual commitment tracking, and marketing program performance metric reporting, utilizing Visa Salesforce where appropriate.

  • Responsible for supporting the Account Executive with Visa leadership updates on all co-brand marketing activities and marketing performance through regular reporting and communications, including briefing documents, etc.

  • Deepen engagement with assigned co-brand partnerships by defining new marketing opportunities to include Visa Analytics, Visa Loyalty Solutions, and other Visa products and services where appropriate.

  • Collaborate with key internal Visa partners - Legal, Product, Marketing, Financial Institution Sales and Merchant Sales on all applicable initiatives.

  • Lead the annual co-brand marketing plan development and execution for all assigned accounts.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 15 years marketing experience with related co-brand and/or Retail marketing experience.

  • Relevant Bachelor's degree required; MBA desired.

  • Co-brand issuer and/or retail merchant marketing experience.digit

  • Marketing, consulting experience, consumer loyalty management and/or coalition loyalty experience desired.

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing plans (retail, co-brand, digital and social preferred).

  • Ability to communicate across all levels of an organization; demonstrated experience to interact with 'C' level executives within client organizations.

  • Proven ability to manage and grow internal and external resources and cross-functional relationships.

  • Proven ability to develop effective marketing plans and manage through execution; aptitude to develop new business partnerships.

  • Proven ability to work independently and in collaboration with high level of success/achievement.

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Experience with the Salesforce.com platform is preferred.

  • Ability to travel up to 25%.
