Job Description

The desired candidate will work in the Visa Operations Command Center supporting department SharePoint sites along with other project related tasks.
The candidate shall possess strong work ethic, with leadership skills, excellent judgment and good time management in prioritizing work, and the ability to work in fast paced, team oriented environment.

Under minimal supervision provides analysis and technical expertise in an existing or changing/emerging environment. Performs a broad range of tasks which may include research, analysis, design, coding and testing, installation, maintenance, support, training, evaluation and selection, enhancement and implementation of SharePoint 2013 solutions.

ESSENTIAL SHAREPOINT DUTIES:

  • * SharePoint site design, enhancement and development
  • * Respond to and analyze business requirements, interact with users to refine requirements, design, develop, and test implementation
  • * SharePoint master pages, styles, layouts, themes, composed looks and search display templates
  • * SharePoint responsive designs and/or mobile device channels development
  • * SharePoint web services and web parts
  • * Conducts research and identifies problems and significantly improve, change or adapt existing methods and techniques in accordance with business needs.
  • Microsoft SharePoint 2010 and 2013 Enterprise
  • * Create new SharePoint Pages including data-driven web parts using SharePoint technologies.
  • * Convert business requirements into technical solutions using appropriate and applicable SharePoint technologies.
  • * Create custom forms and SharePoint workflows to guide end-users through complex business processes
  • * Help with end user training and has the ability to interact with internal customers to provide guidance with SharePoint related tasks.
  • * Document both business and technical requirements, workflows, and processes as communicated by management.

ESSENTIAL PROJECT SUPPORT:

  • Lead project related status meetings with both technical staff and management.

  • Demonstrate the ability to gauge the scope and criticality of project related milestones in the defined period of time and direct the team to take the appropriate actions.

  • Ensure all project goals are on track and assist with the day to day work related to the project and the VOCC. Identify areas to improve and work with staff and management to implement changes.

  • Craft project related reports and presentations targeted for upper management and technical support teams.

  • Coordinate with second level teams and senior management on projects and major changes. Ensure proper communication and all necessary documentation is in place.

  • Provide use case documentation and requirements for new projects and form partnerships with others to ensure the requirements are met.

  • Work with little supervision






Qualifications

Education/Professional

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Business, or a related discipline

  • 3 to 5 years of technical project support experience
  • 3 to 5 year experience in delivering SharePoint based solutions for the business using SharePoint standard functionalities and customization 
  • Minimum requirement for Information Technology Infrastructure Library Foundation Certificate (ITIL) Intermediate or higher certification is a plus

Functional Requirements

* Experience developing web parts, best practices and feature deployment. 

* Experience with form building and custom workflow development.

* Direct experience using SharePoint 2010 or later (2013 preferred).

* Manage existing and develop solutions with Microsoft Office InfoPath Forms Services

* Requires in-depth knowledge of Systems Analysis and Design concepts and associated tools.

* Demonstrated ability to lead projects, including project management tool experience, leading project teams, and coordination with client personnel.

* Knowledge and use of relevant PC software applications and skills to use them effectively.

* Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

* Solid analytical and problem solving skills

* Solid communication and presentation skills

* Highly organized individual, capable of handling multiple competing priorities and comfortable working with a team of systems administrators and business users

Beneficial but not required Experience 

•Practical experience with writing and responding to business requirements, analyzing and working with users to best implement in SharePoint, develop, unit testing and support UAT 

•Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer: SharePoint Application (or similar)

SharePoint Designer and Visual Studio
