Job Scope

This is an individual contributor role responsible for identifying and resolving issues of moderate to high complexity. This position is at a high professional level and requires strong execution and analytical abilities. This role works independently and receives minimal guidance.

Responsibilities

Manage chip contact and contactless strategy and related projects and initiatives. This individual role is to assist issuers, acquirers and merchants in the correct chip and contactless implementations and assist in the chip strategy contributing to the development and execution of Visa´s growth in Brazil.

This role requires:

  • Maintenance of chip contact and contactless authentication strategy, revenues, market adoption, and tactical plans to each of key clients, seeking best in class performance.
  • Analysis of technical and systems opportunities, understanding of market gaps, identify emerging    segments and business trends.
  • Participate in the development and implementation tools and enhancements to track and manage chip strategy performance.
  • Conduct chip authentication product/platforms adaptations to local needs.
  • Provide information and analysis to inform plans regarding global, regional or country specific chip strategy, technical requirements, development and implementation.
  • Provide analysis and participate in the definition of business and technical plans aligned to product strategy and country growth plans.
  • Track and report technical performance metrics.
  • Design chip templates and perform QA testing according client’s needs.
  • Review client landscape and make technical recommendations towards chip contact and contactless authentication methods.
  • Work closely with chip and contactless strategic alliances and partnerships.
  • Support Sales teams in all chip related projects execution planning.
  • Support and promote chip strategic alliances.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree.

  • Typically requires a minimum of 3-5 years business experience in card payments industry, corporate banking or card processing preferred.

  • Experience implementing chip and contactless related projects based on business objectives that deliver measurable business results.

  • Technical, Operational and Project Management experience.

  • Analytical, fact-based and the ability to synthesize and organize data/information.

  • Good written and verbal communication, interpersonal, presentation skills, and the proven ability to influence and communicate effectively.

  • Good planning, technical oriented, organizational and problem solving skills.

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast paced environment.

  • Previous experience in card payments industry, corporate banking or card processing is a plus.

  • Fluent in English / Spanish as a plus.
