The Director, Digital Web Production – Small Business is a key member in our worldwide digital marketing team, supporting strategic, integrated marketing objectives that generate, optimize and accelerate
awareness, engagement and demand.
S/he will be responsible for the Authorize.Net web experience, ensuring that content is up-to-date and online marketing programs are executed in close alignment with the NA Small Business Marketing, Digital
Marketing, and World Wide Marketing leadership teams. S/he will report to the Senior Director, Digital Marketing.
This position is based in Bellevue, WA, with some domestic and international travel expected.
Be a passionate and proactive driver and articulate advocate for customers and the Authorize.Net web experience
Represent Authorize.Net stakeholders in continuously improving Authorize.Net’s web properties across all audiences, geographies and form factors while prioritizing internal and external
Work hand-in-hand with Visa’s agency of record to deliver a best-of-class experience that embraces emerging trends while maintaining usability
Lead ongoing user and A/B feedback initiatives, as well as feedback from other sources, to drive incremental improvements
Partner with small business Go-to-Market (GTM) team through web activities, ad campaigns, CRM, etc., to produce a compelling and sticky web experience
Develop and maintain relevant KPIs and site metrics in tight alignment with Marketing Operations and the sales teams
Manage the creation process for content updates to the Authorize.Net web assets, including support for the development of graphics and interactive forms
Collaborate closely with SEO team to ensure all web-based properties are aligned and generating highest quality results
Establish strong relationships with Visa’s global resources by both capturing regional requirements and supporting regional program growth
Lead effective communication, understanding, linkage, and prioritization of resources, across cross-functional teams
- Minimum of 5-8 years of web and mobile design experience
and implementation – agency experience a plus
- Working knowledge of CMS systems (required)
- Proficiency with design programs including Adobe Creative Suite
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including an ability to meet objectives through influence, facilitation and consensus building
- Knowledge of SEO best practices
- Ability to troubleshoot technical problems
- Ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with key product stakeholders
- Demonstrated capabilities to multi-task in a fast paced environment
- Strong experience in project management with emphasis on milestone definition and management
- Positive attitude, tactful, and a self-starting contributor with positive references from prior marketing/IT colleagues
- Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree a plus
