Job Description

The U.S. Innovation and Digital Solutions Marketing team is looking for an experienced Director to help run our Performance Marketing team. This role calls for a creative, data-driven, and flexible strategist passionate about driving and optimizing engagement from our direct marketing channels.

Specific Responsibilities:
  • Develop the overall performance marketing strategy inclusive of programmatic media, email,.com and incentive investments across products and brand
  • Drive end-to-end execution of the strategy by working with campaign leads on briefs, launching of said campaigns (media and creative), and analyzing/optimizing results
  • CRM: Act as the business owner for Visa’s email channel inclusive of calendar management, oversight of agency relationships and executive communications
  • Test and Learn: Lead the planning, execution and optimization of a comprehensive programmatic media, incentive investment and CRM agenda
  • Lead multiple CRM and proprietary databases, partners and tools to develop target segmentations that deliver against campaign KPIs
  • Act as US voice in global CRM conversations/decisions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree required; advance degree/concentration in statistics, data analytics, marketing
  • etc. preferred
  • 10+ years of building, growing and optimizing customer engagement programs
  • Ability to build email content using HTML and CSS
  • Knowledge of web tracking technologies and web analytics datasets
  • Experience crafting and implementing A/B and multivariate tests
  • Proficiency with email tools, CRMs, and marketing automation tools
  • Ability to liaise/influence cross functionally e.g. media, creative, analytics and agency partners
  • Excellent attention to detail: experience QA’ing emails and an eye for keeping design and voice on-brand
  • You have the ability to work independently, take initiative and be a self-starter
