CyberSource offers a full-service payment management platform for e-commerce merchants, combining global payment processing, fraud management and payment security systems. The Belfast centre has full life cycle responsibility for the delivery of products that are integral to the continued growth and success of CyberSource worldwide.

As a Development Manager in CyberSource you will be a thought-leader responsible for providing vision and leadership to various multi-functional product development teams. You will be the gateway for associated development groups collating and clarifying requirements, facilitating communication and driving project initiatives. Your strategic mindset along with your technical expertise will be deployed to champion and manage a culture of best practices, continuous improvement and personal development within CyberSource.

Our ideal candidate will have:

• Strong software product development experience, preferably within a mission critical web based software services

• Experience in strategically contributing to organisational / function goals

• Experience in leading multi-disciplined, geographically dispersed teams

• Ability to lead a technical team in a fast paced environment

• Experience with Agile methodologies/SCRUM

• Knowledge and experience with n-tier architecture, database, SQL. Ability to identify architectural requirements and translate these requirements into product features.

• Will display a high level of problem solving skills and the ability to assimilate complex technical information.

• Proven ability to work in cross-functional environments including business management, customer support and engineering teams

• Ability to deliver results on multiple projects in a complex, fast-moving environment

• Ability to generate creative and innovative solutions for complex architectural problems

• Great communication skills; Pro-active and self-sufficient work style; Comfortable in interacting with senior executives both internally and externally

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field required
