Job Description

Have you always wanted to be in Learning & Development at one of the world's most valuable brands?  This role will manage the implementation of two of Visa University's flagship programs:  Getting Started at Visa for new hires, and the new Payments Everywhere Curriculum.  If you have exceptional organizational and technical trouble-shooting skills, are comfortable facilitating in front of large groups, have experience leveraging technology to support learning, and know how build and leverage your network, then this job may be for you! 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the implementation of global Getting Started at Visa onboarding program: You will seamlessly produce weekly distance learning onboarding programs. This will require a deep understanding of the intent of the design of the experience balanced with practical know-how about how to get it done at Visa. You will coordinate global sites leveraging video conferencing, online materials, and iPads in the classroom. You will provide guidance and technical support to instructors and global community of site coordinators.
  2. Produce Payments Everywhere Kickoff sessions: You will bring the Payments Everywhere curriculum to life. You will coordinate four Kickoff sessions each month at campuses across the globe. You will bring together experts for each session, set up video and virtual reality equipment. You will function as producer, support, and guide for our instructors. You will also function as co-facilitator in the Foster City campus. Your efforts will result in a seamless, engaging learning experience. 
  3. Provide educational and technical support to employees throughout Payments Everywhere Curriculum: You will provide the guidance, support, and encouragement employees need to complete the Payments Everywhere curriculum certification successfully. You will support from registration through to completion of their certification. This will entail technical support in multiple technology platforms including the Learning Management System (LMS), Visa’s Digital campus, and others. You will encourage them and function as guide and coach as they progress through the two-month long experience. 
  4. Coordinate Payments Everywhere Cohort Group Projects: You will support over 20 cohorts per month with completion of their Payments Everywhere Cohort projects. You will put your stakeholder management skills to the test as you pull together judging panels of Visa experts around the globe. After judges select the best cohort projects, you will prepare cohorts to present their ideas to executive leadership at Visa. 
  5. Measure and tell the story of the impact of these programs: You will play a key role in gathering and compiling data that communicates the impact of our programs on Visa’s people and our business. You have technical aptitude that will allow you to pull together insights from multiple data sources to tell a meaningful story. 

Qualifications

About You: Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Education, Technology, Human Resources, or Business
  • Experience managing programs in a corporate environment
  • Strong project management skills and detail orientation
  • Exceptional technical trouble-shooting skills
  • Strong group facilitation skills
  • Strong business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills: polish in and experience with presentations
  • Poise at engaging and developing collaborative, productive relationships with stakeholders
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) or other technical systems along with the ability to quickly learn new systems
  • Experience with classroom technologies such as video conferencing (required), mobile devices in the classroom (preferred), and virtual reality equipment (preferred) 
  • Ability to tell a meaningful story with data
  • Experience creating job-aids preferred
  • Experience in the payments industry preferred
