Job Description

As part of the U.S.Marketing team, the Marketing Manager will focus on marketing for Visa’s core payment products and solutions to consumers. This position is responsible for supporting the development and implementation of holistic marketing plans to support Visa’s contactless payment marketing campaigns in the U.S. We are looking for a well-rounded marketer to join our team and lead successful activation of marketing campaigns for Visa, in conjunction with key merchants and partners. The ideal candidate deeply understands the changing marketing environment and is driven to craft breakthrough work across all channels. The key to this job is being analytically savvy, having a strategic mindset, amazing interpersonal skills, and the passion to execute precisely.

Responsibilities:

  • Be responsible for the execution of Visa’s contactless marketing campaigns and activations.
  • Lead communication with creative & media agencies, and sponsorship partners, and implement high-impact programs on-time and on-budget.
  • Budget management and financial discipline for all Visa contactless marketing campaigns, including management of media investments, production costs, and campaign scenario planning to optimize investments that help achieve business goals.
  • You will be responsible for the measurement, analysis, and reporting of marketing program performance and its impact on business results and Visa brand.
  • Capture and synthesize consumer insights on Visa’s target audience(s).
  • Demonstrate Visa’s iconic sponsorship platforms (NFL, Olympics, FIFA World Cup), as appropriate, to amplify Visa’s payment innovation products to consumers.
  • Work with cross-functional teams and agency partners (external and internal) to craft and gain alignment on the creative brief and key performance measures.
  • Support the execution and implementation of integrated campaign activations, across multiple channels, including TV, digital, social, print, OOH, and on-site experiential.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required. MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years business experience, with majority in marketing/advertising; experience in client/account management.
  • Experience in developing multi-channel marketing programs is a requirement and previous client management experience preferred.
  • Superior analytical and problem solving skills, with proven intellectual and analytical rigor applied to a wide variety of marketing problems
  • Experience in running creative, media, and social/digital agency partners.
  • Shown ability to work in a complex organization with multiple partners to deliver accurate and on-time project deliverables.
  • Excellent project management, planning, collaboration, relationship-building skills and experience in leading through influence.
  • Excellent written and verbal social skills.
  • Proficient on all Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
