Job Description

Do you know the
difference between a DMP and a DSP? Are you familiar with media buyers and planners at top ad tech platforms? Do you live and breathe ad tech, and are you excited by the challenge of bringing to market innovative digital advertising solutions?

As part of the Visa Advertising Solutions team, this person will have responsibility for driving usage/sales across Visa’s digital advertising products and solutions. This highly motivated individual will be responsible for building relationships with ad tech platforms. This individual will work in close collaboration with the product and sales teams to understand product nuances help inform go-to-market approaches, and come up with client solutions. This person should have great problem solving skills with an ability to position and create the right message to meet different stakeholders’ needs.


This person will be based out of our NY office and report to the global head of Visa Advertising
Solutions within Visa’s Merchant Sales & Solutions group.


Qualifications

  • Possess significant functional knowledge of digital advertising ecosystem and players involved, including in-depth knowledge around targeting and measurement solutions in the marketplace

  • Comfortable presenting and pitching advertising and data related products

  • 5 to 7 years of relevant experience, including 5+ years’ experience in business development in the advertising technology and data products space

  • Advanced communication skills with the ability to influence across all levels of an organization

  • Strong business acumen – ability to influence strategy while driving tactical program delivery

  • High proficiency in delivering sales materials (e.g. PowerPoint)

  • Creativity and resourcefulness to overcome unexpected roadblocks

  • Expertise in 1st and 3rd party data usage through the advertising ecosystem

  • Availability to travel periodically (~30%)

  • B.A./B.S. from top-tier university

Additional Information

RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Lead ad tech platform sales for all of Visa Advertising Solutions.

    • Create, maintain and grow a healthy sales pipeline and report on usage that is driven through these platforms

    • Build relationships and coordinate business development efforts with key partners in the digital
      advertising technology platforms, specifically relating to the media buying arms (e.g.
      trade desks, publishers, platforms)

    • Ideate and execute opportunities to drive adoption and activation

    • Guide development and ongoing enhancement of sales materials

    • Influence and provide market feedback to the entire cross-functional team
