Job Description

As CyberSource’s Global Services Engagement Lead for the Americas, you will have primary responsibility for managing the largest enterprise merchant and acquirer ongoing partnerships.  By understanding the partners’ needs in-depth, the Global Service Engagement Lead will manage complex relationships, helping them identify their highest priority needs which require CyberSource collaboration to bring market-leading commerce solutions to market.  You will manage a team that includes roles focused on influencing CyberSource product roadmaps to deliver critical partner capabilities as well as positions responsible for managing successful production launches as well as stabilization periods before formal hand-off to support and operations teams.  Finally,
the CyberSource Global Services Engagement Lead is responsible for facilitating mid-tier merchants’ efficient implementing with CyberSource in order to maximize portfolio growth at a pace that matches new merchant contracts.

Deep insight into rapidly evolving market changes that pose new opportunities to CyberSource’s partners – combined with the ability to guide and influence executive management – are critical capabilities to succeed
in this highly demanding role. Strong oral and written communication skills, business development, product development, and especially relationship management skills are essential. Regular travel to partner locations will be required.

Responsibilities:

    • Help define and manage partner needs – Use in-depth understanding of partners’ strategic objectives and payment solution priorities to facilitate effective product development of
      go-to-market solutions

    • Deliver payment solutions actively manage and report on all aspects of product management, anticipating timeline and delivery quality challenges in order to provide effective risk mitigation strategies

    • Influence Product Features/Roadmap – coordinate with peers and co-workers to identify and facilitate broader adoption of new partner functionality in product roadmap

    • Cultivate Account Relationships – strengthen and deepen strategic relationship with partners by successfully providing payment solution thought leadership and market delivery

    • Organize integrated testing with Global Services clients – working with internal resources, partners, and their 3rd-party support vendors, create an integrated test plan that enables the successful launch of high-priority payment solution enhancements and innovation
    • Define and manage client stabilization periods define required post-launch stabilization periods and actively manage all critical issues to resolution in close partnership with development resource

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Quantitative-focused bachelor’s degree in Business, or Computer Science or similar bachelor’s degree

  • 12+ years of professional consulting experience with considerable enterprise delivery experience and a proven record of managing complex engagements with enterprise merchants and financial
    institutions

  • Demonstrated thought leadership in payment and commerce market developments over the past decade

  • 10+ years of experience in a product management, ideally using multiple software development methodologies

  • 10+ years payment industry domain expertise

  • Extensive experience with alternatives analysis, financial modeling, and risk management

  • Ability to manage customer expectations and able to negotiate and influence internal and external stakeholders at all levels

  • Strategic analysis background in financial services and/or emerging technologies
