Job Description

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Act as the single point of operational contact for assigned merchant and partner accounts
  • Troubleshoot and resolve client's technical, business, merchant identification, transaction processing and billing issues by obtaining and examining all relevant information to determine cause and facilitate resolution. 
  • Perform business analytics and performance monitoring of live merchants and partners
  • Proactively work with the client to identify strategic opportunities, manage moderately complex assignments that are diverse in scope, and search out appropriate courses of action.
  • Represent the client’s and account management’s needs in the product roadmap, provide business requirements and prioritization, and communicate roadmap back to the client.
  • Coordinate internal resources to accomplish Visa and client objectives, and ensure that the client perspective is represented within the organization. 
  • In addition to direct client management, this role requires the ability to manage cross-client strategic goals, special projects, and driving account management’s goals within a diverse cross functional groups including legal, privacy, product, analytics, business development and System Development teams.
  • Stay current with industry and client trends and maintain a working knowledge of Visa products and services.
  • Client-facing travel (international and domestic), ~20%

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in payment processing products with ability to consult with clients on defining implementation goals and timelines. 
  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA a plus. Requires previous experience managing clients, preferably in the financial services, card-linked, payment card, software or information services industries
  • Proven ability to service and support a range of internal and external customers, often in parallel and within a shifting set of priorities.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to absorb technical information and apply it to business solutions.
  • Strong problem solving and organization skills including resolution management and follow up
  • Candidate must be a self-starter and have a disposition to work independently with a commitment to detail in an organized manner
  • Strong leadership capabilities, interpersonal, customer interaction and executive-level written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluent oral and written English is required
  • Proficiency in Spanish is a plus
  • Experience with SQL statements and BI reporting solutions such as MicroStrategy.
  • Experience with web-based software development technologies: HTML, XML, REST, JSON APIs is a plus
  • Working well within heavily matrixed organizations, multi-national experience a plus.
