Job Description

The Visa Global Business Solutions (VGBS) team has overall responsibility for all aspects of business strategy, development and management of B2B solutions, as well as platform development and commercial information management.  VGBS serves clients engaged in providing payment products to small business, middle market and large corporate/multinational companies, governments and commercial supply chain/B2B segments.

Role description:

Within VGBS, the Partnership & New Initiatives team drives growth by developing new partnerships, identifying new solutions, and solving for differentiated payment flows.  The Director of Client Delivery, Partnerships & New Initiatives will manage and/or support go-to-market plans/activities such as contract standardization, technical implementation, and marketing and growth strategies for high profile, complex, cross-functional strategic and business development initiatives.  Additionally, s/he will manage and will be responsible for the following:

  • Account ManagementLead account management for key Business Solutions partners representing new sources of payments volume for Visa and complimenting existing Visa solutions.  Partner categories include API Integrators, Financial Technology Platforms, Accounts Payables and Receivables Players, Verticals. 
  • Account Management Standardization - Formalize existing account management best practices and go-to-market strategies such as contract standardization, marketing process and procedures, identification of common implementation work streams, deal win/loss reporting, etc.
  • Visa Ready Program Management – Manage day-to-day operations and strategic roadmap for the Visa Ready Program, a standardized and comprehensive partnership management program that governs all aspects of partner relationships based on partner need. 
  • Annual Operating Plan – Collaborate with team members and Visa internal finance team to maintain Annual Operating plan and team budget; prepare, with assistance from finance business partners, executive status monthly and quarterly.

Qualifications

Experienced, results-oriented individual contributor with at least 9 years progressively responsible business experience with a proven track record in identifying business opportunities, developing partnerships and executing strategic initiatives in a highly matrixed environment. Previous experience working in financial services, technology, small business, payments or financial institutions, preferred; background in working with high-performance teams. Qualified candidates will be asked to:
