• Understand and analyze technology nomenclature (e.g., servers, storage arrays, data centers etc.)
  
• Analyze and summarize large datasets to build KPI dashboards within Excel
• Combine operational and financial metrics to conduct “what-if” scenario modeling and offer executive management business intelligence for strategic decision making within the Technology organization
  
• Keen understanding of budgets, financials, and measuring business value via leading edge metrics (Contracts, Deal Agreements, Licensing models etc.)
• Identify opportunities to improve our business analytics capabilities

General Data and Business Analysis

• Live and breathe data analysis and understand common problems with datasets (cleansing, merging, visualization)
  
• Must be comfortable with technology to understand the key infrastructure products
  
• Strong comfort level with Excel and performing ad hoc analysis on the fly with an audience from junior employees to senior leaders
  
• Must have strong quantitative skills & experience taking raw data and drawing actionable insights from it
  
• Ability to conduct research and independently ask questions from engineers, financial analysts and business analysts to come up with business requirements for software projects
  
• Strong communication skills including written, oral, and presentation abilities
  
• Demonstrated project management skills, including ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and follow through on completion of high-profile projects
  
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and follow-up with multiple stakeholders throughout the company
  
• Proven critical thinking and problem solving skills
  
• Must be comfortable with ambiguity and fast change with an ability to adapt quickly and easily
  
• Must have a high attention to detail and accuracy in all work products
  
• 1-3 years of experience working in a technology or finance related field

Software and Tools

• Extremely comfortable with Excel, MS Access and Analytics tools such as Tableau
• Experience with SQL Server and the ability to write out their own SQL statements to pull data from multiple sources preferred
