Visa are looking for a brilliant and passionate UX Staff Designer to join its Visa User Experience Team. Join a small, high performing team that conceives and designs new concepts, and plays a pivotal role in collaborations with Visa partners, working with emerging technologies such as Internet of Things and cardless payments.

You're an experienced creative who is in your element designing across different media and in small, agile teams. You'll work closely with stakeholders to conceive and design beautiful and engaging product experiences, as animated interfaces, videos or working apps. You'll be involved in the early stages of research and ideation and will collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams through the iteration and development process. You have a confident design voice and will be comfortable in a variety of working sessions where the task is to develop stories, ideate solutions or test prototypes with consumers.

The Role

• Conceive and design experiences that are delightful and engaging in multiple media
• Collaborate with small, dynamic teams to create compelling product concepts
• Work closely with clients in a customer-focused environment
• Create prototypes of new products and services, and trial them with consumers
• Present design concepts to Executive Leadership and external partners
• Understand and advocate for the consumer's experience

Experience/Qualifications

• Experience designing across different platforms (Web, Video, App, Print)
• Extensive experience in rapid prototyping
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in a client facing role, ideally in an agency
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast paced, hands on environment
• Prior experience of both start-up and corporate environments is preferred
• Candidate must communicate ideas and design decisions effectively
• Strong design skills with mobile, video, animation and experience with emerging media such as VR
• Fluent in sketching, storyboarding, user journeys and flows
• Teamwork oriented collaborator
• Experience working hands-on with developers and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
• Expert knowledge of design and prototyping tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Invision, Sketch
• BA/BS in related field required. MS/MFA preferred
