Visa Corporate IT (CIT) group has embarked on a major technology transformation journey and Open Revenue Systems plays a key role transitioning Revenue systems to next generation technologies. As part of this strategy, Open Revenue Systems OpCerts team is looking for curious, creative, and technology experts to join our growing team. We focus on delivering global platforms that enable Visa's Pricing, Invoicing and Operating Certificate applications, which are used by Visa business partners to service Visa clients globally.

The successful candidate is expected to be an expert in .NET technologies within the Specialized Systems DevOps team in Bengaluru (India) office. The selected candidate will be fully responsible for solution design, delivery and support achieving engineering excellence of services.

Responsibilities: 

Responsible for analysis, design, development, unit testing and support of .NET applications to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the business functions. Responsible to create high-level and technical design documents and test cases, and deployment plans. Work closely with the application teams to support and resolve defects on time and ensure the successful delivery of business capabilities. Work in an agile project environment and follow agile methodologies with quick turnaround times.

• 5+ years of strong experience in .NET technologies such as ASP.NET, C#, MVC, WCF, Web Services, and Classic ASP
• Strong experience evaluating business requirements and translating them into technical designs documents
• Experience in Design Patterns, and data modelling
• Strong knowledge and experience working with Database systems, including PL/SQL, SQL Server
• Strong Experience working on Windows platforms including IIS
• Experience in version Control tools: SVN, Git or similar
• Experience in XML, XSLT and Macros is desired
• Exposure to Open Source Front-End web application frameworks like AngularJS/NodeJS, Mongo is an added advantage
• Experience with waterfall and agile methodologies, including knowledge of Agile model and DevOps working model
• Familiar with configuration/hardware/design and performance tuning techniques to ensure meeting performance goals
• Highly self-motivated and adaptable to learning and understanding new technologies
• Strong written communication, oral communication, inter-personnel skills with attention to details
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a team
• Able to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet aggressive timelines
• Team player with a can-do attitude
• B-Tech/M-Tech in Computer Science or equivalent
• Previous experience with financial services/payments processing experience a big plus
