Job Description

The Director, Client Experience will support client introductory engagements and events and closely partner with the Innovation & Design Team as well as the Client Relationship Management Teams.

This Director is responsible for understanding Visa’s business strategy and partnering with global account executives on client engagements to execute successful introductory sessions that meet account and business goals. This role runs day-to-day execution of key client engagements and represents the NY Innovation Studio program to clients and special event attendees.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You will own client intake to ensure healthy pipeline of clients and ecosystem events

- Successfully execute introductory sessions and tours of the NY Innovation Studio to both internal and external customers

- Strategically communicates Visa Innovation vision to internal and external audiences

- Demonstrates previous knowledge and experience of the Payments industry

- Effectively communicates narratives supporting the Visa Innovation vision for introductory tours and ecosystem events

- Manages end to end hospitality elements of client introductory tours and special events

- Work in white space environments, in the newly built NY Studio practice, independently and leading engagements and initiatives

- Plans and executes NY FinTech/Partner ecosystem events to articulate Visa’s Innovation agenda and amplifies Visa’s role within NY FinTech

- Acts as lead for ecosystem events: recommend and secure corporate resources, handle engagement logistics, lead hospitality efforts, and prepare post briefing reports and follow-ups




Qualifications

YOU ARE THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR IF YOU HAVE:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years professional experience

- MBA or Master’s Degree a plus

- Experience in consumer research/human centered design, hospitality and executive engagement a plus

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and lead multiple projects/events at a time while paying close attention to detail

- Confirmed ability to problem-solve and work independently with minimal supervision while also being a team-player

- Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams

- Self-motivated, “can do” POSITIVE attitude with extraordinary follow through

- Ability to conduct and synthesize market research

- Strong communication, storytelling, and presentation building skills

- Comfort working within white space environments
