Job Description

In partnership with Visa Account Teams, the Senior Director will be responsible for increasing the penetration and sales of Data Products into Visa’s Clients across Regions.  The Senior Director will work in partnership with teams responsible for go-to-market plans, product managers, regional product leads and account executives.  The Senior Director will need to advance sales enablement, sales engineering and client success practices and assets.   Given the pre-sales and post-sales responsibilities, the Senior Director will leverage her/his past experiences to enable adoption of Visa’s Data Products and to ensure high client satisfaction.  

Primary Responsibilities

  • Function as the global lead across all regional sales and client success directors to coordinate the prospecting, sales, onboarding and retention of clients

  • Increase clients using data products across the regions, communicating and demonstrating the value of Visa’s data products

  • Identify client business needs and position the value of Data Products through the sales process

  • Ensure standard demos, value statements, needs assessments, onboarding and client support activities advance to enable greater adoption of Visa’s data products within the market

  • Educate users and key stakeholders about the value of data products to Visa clients and to Visa. 

  • Participate in sales calls, RFP responses and conduct demos, sales enablement training and
    other activities.

  • Ensure standard presentations/training and related materials are up to date and reflect the value in collaboration with go to market teams

  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of sales pipelines for Visa’s data products throughout the regions using Playbook

  • Identify and manage the reporting of key performance metrics


  • BS in business management, computer science or information technology

  • Minimum 10 years experience selling analytics and data software solutions, preferably within financial services industry

  • At least eight years of sales, presales support/sales engineering, post-sales client success management  or professional services
  • Demonstrated success collaborating with cross-functional and regional teams to achieve business goals
  • Effective and engaging presentation skills (both large and small audiences, in-person or by phone)
  • Executive sales presence and confidence
  • Strong ability to uncover client business challenges, and develop and position solutions to solve those challenges
  • Demonstrated ability to sell and realize value from data and analytics
  • Independent judgment and mature decision-making skills to ensure customer expectations and service levels are met
  • Self-motivated,works well independently as well as part of a team, and works with minimal direction
  • Hands-on experience either implementing or managing a pre-sales operations process
  • Years’ Experience: Minimum of 10 years
