Job Description
Are you an advocate for Global Debit products across the
globe? The Vice President – Global Prepaid will be a core member of the Global
Debit, Prepaid and ATM team, responsible for driving growth of Visa prepaid
products globally and in priority markets. You will work in sync with local and
regional product and other functional leaders. You will prioritize and
operationalize growth initiatives, form and leverage industry partnerships, and
drive innovation including the development of new prepaid product features.
Within Visa, you will be the voice of Visa’s prepaid clients, consumers, and
other key stakeholders. Outside of Visa, you will be our leader and
spokesperson to the global prepaid industry.
Visa is passionate about bringing prepaid solutions to
market that further drive cash to digital payments. Globally, there is over
$3.5T in cash and check that is addressable with prepaid products including
general purpose reloadable, payroll, government and corporate disbursements,
and healthcare. The market has seen a dramatic expansion in user base and entrance of
Fintech / challenger bank models, showcasing prepaid as a platform for emerging
mobile banking products serving millennials, affluent consumers and
mobile-centric segments. Prepaid products are a key vehicle for the financial
inclusion of millions of un- and underbanked consumers worldwide.
We need your global-minded product category leadership
expertise. Ideally you will bring wide-ranging experience and insights to the
role. Your experience from traditional banking to retail distribution to
channel management across greenfield, emerging and developed markets is highly
valued. Your global perspective and acumen, coupled with product innovation and
development experience is critical; specifically, understanding the nuances and commonalities of each market; inspiring new thinking, developing and testing concepts; and managing core products in a
rapidly evolving marketplace. Do you have a deep understanding of technology
trends and the issues and opportunities across the payment landscape?
Your proven strength in building internal and external
relationships will also be an important success factor.
Specific Responsibilities Include:
Developing, championing and operationalizing
Visa’s global growth strategy for prepaid, including regional and local
priorities to drive differentiation, adoption and usageIdentifying and prioritizing regions and
countries for accelerationSizing and prioritizing existing and new use
casesDeveloping business cases and resource planning
Driving global innovation and development of new
features, functionalities, and enhancement that can be demonstrated worldwideOwning and delivering on key global initiatives
as identified and assignedWorking with functional partners (e.g.FP&A)
to develop and distribute global performance management toolsSupporting global RFPs and strategic
partnerships to bring solutions to our clientsLeading and sharing regional/global knowledge
base (e.g. best practices, market insights, economics)Demonstrating subject matter expertise on
consumer trends, market landscapes, technology /innovation trends both
internally and externally, to drive growth across the value chain
Qualifications
Minimum 15 years of
experience; significant experiences in the prepaid space, product management,
development and strategy consulting in payment technology space highly valuedRecognized leader in the Prepaid industry
Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree in Business or related field preferred
Consulting experience, with demonstrated success in developing, championing, and growing products and solutions; demonstrated experience in commercializing new products and services
