Job Description

The Sr. Software Engineer in Test will be responsible for driving the test automation strategy and implementation for the Revenue and Billing platform.  We are in need of a highly motivated and skilled Sr. Software Engineer in Test that is passionate on using modern software engineering and testing principles to deliver robust applications to our global users.

In this critical role, you'll have the opportunity to propose and implement test automation frameworks.  You'll be responsible for getting our code to production with high quality and accuracy while satisfying acceptance criteria.  This role is a great opportunity to lead and implement your ideas on test automation and share with our peer teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Engineers in an agile environment to advance testing processes

  • Build test automation framework and tools to improve quality and performance

  • Execute manual tests to ship code and determine what to automate

  • Lead efforts to design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites

  • Setup, configure, and maintain test environments

  • Collaborate with development team to analyze, debug and resolve design and code issues


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or a related field is required

  • 5+ years experience writing test strategy, test plans and detailed test cases

  • Experience developing test automation frameworks

  • Agile Development, Continuous Integration using Jenkins and automated testing experience

  • Strong SQL and Oracle skills

  • Passion for high quality software engineering
