Job Description

Visa Inc. Global Marketing & Communications is searching for a Sr. Director of Programmatic Marketing. You will bring thought leadership and vision to establish a centralized strategy and approach to programmatic marketing on behalf of the global function.

Programmatic capabilities are a foundational element of our success. We partner within Visa and with our agencies on sophisticated measurement, segmentation and automation strategies toward more effective digital advertising.

Reporting directly to the Vice President, Global Marketing Agency COE, this role will:

  • Be responsible for the practice of programmatic on behalf of Visa Marketing and communications
  • Partner with analytics teams on the effectiveness of addressable strategies
  • Work across teams and levels to increase the understanding of what works and what does not work with a strong point of view on what the action should be going forward
  • Core partners include regional stakeholders, agency leadership, global media team, data and platforms group, data and reporting teams
  • Lead a team of 1-2 high-performing individuals with a larger footprint of geographic influence

Qualifications

Experienced, results-oriented leader with at least 10 years of programmatic strategy and buying with a proven track record of driving business outcomes with large brands. In-house and/or external agency experience required. Experience with building teams and guiding them toward successful outcomes. He/she must have strong internal and external partnership skills, a track record for working with executives and a collaborative approach to driving outcomes and a desire to challenge the status quo.

Drive Action
  • Partner with Visa’s data platforms team on the most advanced use of our data management platform
  • Engages closely with DSP partners on unlocking more data chances to create insights
  • Collaborate with agency partners on strategic publisher deals where programmatic and custom content can be bundled
  • Drive Global Dynamic Creative Optimization as a strategic imperative to successful data driven digital strategies
  • Ensure brand safe environments
  • Scale programmatic initiatives, campaigns and tests and provide expertise and guidance to regional and agency teams
