Job Description

Do you have experience with Data Analysis, Project Management and Reporting?

The Director of Technology Portfolio Reporting will be
responsible for a number of high-visibility, time-sensitive analytical
responsibilities with key focus on bringing transparency, critical thinking,
and sound rational to support decision-making through various executive level
reports. This position interacts with a wide range of stakeholders within
Technology, across functional Program Management Offices (PMOs), Finance, as
well as senior leadership. The position will report to the Sr. Director, Technology
Portfolio Management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and deliver executive reporting and other data-driven deliverables, with a focus on providing
    appropriate business insights, content, context and structure in a precise and timely
    manner

  • Provide leadership and oversight without direct management authority; share expertise with contributing teams and drive operational rigor to ensure on-time delivery of specific reports

  • Focus on continuous improvement and evolution to meet changing requirements to support maximum visibility to the executive audience

  • Provide relevant ad hoc analysis and any other supporting presentations/artifacts for consumption
    by executive management

  • Act as the primary point of contact for Technology Portfolio Reporting and work with functional
    teams to gather required data and content in prescribed formatted reports

  • Design overall data strategy to enhance efficiencies of data retrieval for reporting delivery

  • Improve business processes to drive data quality for reporting















Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.

  • 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in related roles, including responsibility for
    reporting and analysis, project/program management, and business operations

  • Thinks big picture and drives execution, but also comfortable with rolling up sleeves to get the
    work done (i.e. investigate data discrepancies, follow-up to seek clarity of business insights, etc.)

  • Proven experience and familiarity
    with data attributes related to project/program management and reporting (i.e.
    scope, schedule, cost status reporting)

  • Demonstrated skill in conflict management and interpersonal negotiation to achieve business objectives and develop trust with stakeholders.

  • Directly relevant experience in a similar role at Visa and/or a medium to large, leading technology company is highly preferred.

  • Excellent verbal communication, collaboration, stakeholder management, and teamwork skills with demonstrated ability to gain trust, secure buy-in and influence change at all levels

  • Excellent analytical, strategic-thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills as well as the
    ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and responsibilities

  • Skilled in the creation of presentations, new reporting mechanisms and other documents.

  • Strong process orientation and demonstrated ability to define and document new or improved, operational, and business processes and reporting mechanisms.

  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Expertise in one or more
    analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, as well as Visio and SharePoint
    skills would be a plus.
