Job Description

The Sr. Analyst position  will be a member of Global Interchange & Pricing Team. This position will work on the implementation of interchange programs for Visa’s business globally.

This is an individual contributor role responsible for working on projects of moderate complexity. This position is at an intermediate professional level, the ideal candidate will be an analytical, structured thinker, a creative problem solver, with the ability to synthesize and communicate findings to different audiences.

The position will be based in Foster City, California with some travel expected.

Responsibilities:

  • Define Business Requirements for new Interchange programs or enhancements to existing programs globally
  • Review technical designs, testing documents and user acceptance logs to ensure business requirements are met
  • Support in the implementation and activation of special interchange fee programs
  • Review and approve VBNs for technical communications to clients describing requirements
  • Develop/maintain Interchange User´s Guides
  • Work with the Global Interchange Compliance team on the interchange compliance program to ensure that clients are qualifying for the correct interchange rates.
  • Provide information and direction to internal and external customers around fee programs criteria and interchange processing logic.
  • Manage moderately complex assignments that are diverse in scope, and search out appropriate courses of action.
  • Work with cross-functional local and global teams effectively

Qualifications

•    Bachelor's degree or relevant industry experience with preferred 2-3 years of experience in card processing
•    Strong technical aptitude with the ability to absorb technical information and apply it to business solutions.
•    Knowledge of Visa´s BASE I, BASE II, and SMS systems preferred
•    Knowledge of Visa´s interchange fee assessment process preferred
•    Ability to independently lead and manage assigned projects
•    Ability to work well with cross-regional Visa stakeholders at both senior and junior levels.
•    Analytical and problem solving skills, with attention to detail
•    Self-starter, team oriented and collaborative with proven abilities in organizational, conceptual, and logical problem solving
•    Strong verbal, written, presentation and interpersonal skills are required
