Job Description

Transit payments is a key factor for every day transactional growth for Visa Inc. and the Russia business. The Transit payments as an initiative already has ground in Russia, received priority and additional investments to deliver ambitious growth objectives.

The role-holder will be the lead for this initiative in Russia responsible for Transit Go to Market plan development and implementation and launches. That includes Visa acceptance on transit, product development for seasonal tickets, documentation and guidance for transit use-cases and other product sets to deliver on approved strategic objectives for Russia.


Principle Responsibilities/Key Results Area

  • Be the business and technical subject matter expert for Transit Visa solutions in Russia

  • Educate and inform Visa Staff, Clients and Partners on Visa benefits, complexities, opportunities, architecture and implementation.

  • Contribute to the implementation of the Visa Russia corporate strategy by proactive development of existing and new business opportunities related to Transit

  • Collaborate and provide input to the Regional hub team on the development of the product, strategy, requirements gathering, functional design and technical
    roadmap.

  • Plan and lead an aggressive business development effort for Transit with key
    partners. The business development effort would include identifying promising
    opportunities, building the sales pitch, deal negotiation and closure.

  • Manage product development activities. Lead the Pricing and IRF reviews and adjustments according to market trends. Design and implement product functionalities aimed to grow Visa revenues.

  • Ensure Product new capabilities deployment by proactive product deployment and project management.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years’ work experience with a significant tenure involved in payments and technology, with a strong understanding of the Russian payments landscape.
  • Experience in several key issuer/acquirer business areas preferred, such as acquiring, product and project management, risk management, for cards.
  • Transit payments 3+ years experience is strongly preferred.
  • High value on direct exposure to digital payment solutions (mobile banking, payment cards).
  • Must be team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic, and influential, flexible, with superb presentation skills, including strong oral and writing capabilities.
  • Fluency in English is required
